This was a labor of love. I had actually wanted to buy a painting like this, and could not find one anywhere. Not one that incorporated all of my favorite elements of fantasy and the sea. So, I thought I'd give it a go.
This piece was inspired by a fountain that [link] had taken a few pictures of. I fell in love with them!! Her stock is truly wonderful for painters to use as anatomical references and inspiration. Thank you, Almudena
